Lauralyn Kaziboni is a development economist and a Senior Manager in EY’s Economic Advisory. Prior to joining EY, she spent nearly five years with DNA Economics focusing on issues related to trade and industrial policy, as well as climate change and energy, and monitoring and evaluation. She began her career at the University of Johannesburg's Centre for Competition, Regulation, and Economic Development (CCRED) where she worked for five years as a project coordinator and researcher on issues related to structural transformation and regional integration. Lauralyn holds an MCom in Development Economics and a BCom Hons in International Trade and Finance from the University of Johannesburg. She also has a Bachelor of Social Science, specialising in Economics with a minor in Psychology from Africa University. She has published several working papers, conference papers and book chapters.
