Junior Researcher | The Centre for Sustainability Transitions, Stellenbosch University

Alboricah Tokologo (TK) Rathupetsane is a Junior Researcher at the Centre for Sustainability Transitions Stellenbosch University. As a junior researcher, Tokologo focuses on various sustainability topics such as the just energy transition; climate change impacts on water, energy and food; socio-economic implications of the energy transition; and the creation of decent work. She has a BSc in mechanical engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Master’s in Philosophy (Sustainable Development) from Stellenbosch University where she looked at the potential for wind technology industrialisation in South Africa. She has just started a PhD, and plans to dive deeper into the area of green economy industrialisation in South Africa.
