Cornelius Dube is an Economist with 18 years of experience in economic and social policy research. He has researched and published widely in the areas of public finance management, international trade, competition policy, industrial policy and general economic policy analysis with local, regional and international publishers. He holds a PhD Economics from the University of KwaZulu Natal, Durban, South Africa, as well as a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, both from the University of Zimbabwe. He is currently working as Chief Economist for the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries. He previously worked for 11 years at the Zimbabwe Economic Policy Analysis and Research Unit as a Senior Research Fellow. He has worked extensively on competition policy and competition enforcement with CUTS International, India and Competition and Tariff Commission, Zimbabwe.
