Mohau Isaac Moahludi works for the Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Northern Cape, as a Deputy Director: Research and Development. He has 14 years’ experience in the public service at a Provincial Government level, including working as an economist with the Free State Provincial Treasury. Mohau has a B.Com, majoring in Economics and Statistics, from the University of the Free State, and has completed his studies towards an Advanced Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning with the Centre for Financial Planning Law. He has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Economic Development and Policy with the University of Witwatersrand and a Master’s degree in Development Policy and Practice, from the University of Cape Town Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance. He also has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Management, Sol Plaatje University, and is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Extractive Industries Policy, Regulation and Management with the University of Pretoria. He was a participant of the 2019 African Programme on Rethinking Development Economics (APORDE) programme.
