Research Associate | DST/NRF SARCHI Industrial Development

Dr Rex Asiama is currently a Research Associate with the DSI/NRF SARCHI Industrial Development, based at the University of Johannesburg. He has presented at international conferences such as the TIPS Forum, the Economic Society of South Africa (ESSA) conference and the EAEPE annual conference. He has also published in journals such as Energy Policy; Water Policy; Irrigation and Drainage; International Journal of Emerging Markets; Journal of Sustainable Forestry; and the International Journal of Social Economics. He researches broadly on issues in industrial policy, technology upgrading and development, development economics, energy economics and development studies.
