Ndirangu is a doctoral (finance and accounting) student at the University of Nairobi. His research focuses on inequality and poverty, climate change, economic growth, innovations, national competitiveness, international trade, and productivity. Ndirangu is a regular publisher and columnist with Business Daily Africa, among others. He has published in several journals, is a peer reviewer, and frequently speaks at international and local conferences. He is a fellow at a number of institutes, including the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute, IFE Institute of Advanced Studies and the Human Science Research Council.
