Edna Kabala is a Research Fellow at Crestline Consult Zambia and a Senior Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Economics at the Copperbelt University. Her research focuses on trade, macroeconomics, public finance, financial inclusion, economic development, and policy analysis. Edna has led and contributed to research and consultancy assignments for regional and international institutions, including COMESA, AKADEMIYA2063, Southern Institute for Policy and Research (SAIPAR), government agencies, and the private sector. She serves on several national boards, including the National Road Fund Agency, the National Institute of Public Administration, and SAIPAR.

She was a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow and certified Corporate Governance Trainer. She is also an accomplished entrepreneur, serving as Founder and Board Chair of BridgeTrust Finance Limited and The Thrive Spot.

Edna holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Zambia, a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Botswana (African Economic Research Consortium), and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Development Studies from the University of Zambia.
