Nozipho Ziqubu is an economist and independent researcher with a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Cape Town and a Master of Management in Finance and Investment from Wits Business School. Her research focuses on industrial policy, technological upgrading, structural transformation, manufacturing competitiveness, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic development in emerging economies. Her work explores how evidence-based policy can support industrialisation, innovation, and sustainable economic growth, with a particular interest in comparative development experiences across Asia and Africa.
