Ebrahim-Khalil Hassen is a Senior Researcher at the Inclusive Economies Programme, Gauteng City-Region Observatory (GCRO), where he is part of a team working on understanding the impact of current policies aimed at economic inclusion, and in developing policy options. He has worked in diverse areas including social security, small business development, and urban renewal. The underlying theme of his work is the search for policy options that address structural inequalities in South Africa.
