Michael Weluzani is a dedicated gender advocate, living in Zimbabwe, who champions equality and strives to empower women across various sectors. He also specialises in youth peace and security, serving as a country representative to ensure young voices are included in peace initiatives. In his research, Michael focuses on regional integration, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and women’s economic empowerment. He is committed to fostering collaboration within Africa to unlock economic potential and promote sustainable growth. Through his efforts, Michael aims to help create a more equitable and prosperous future for all citizens of the continent. He holds a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Political Science and a Master of Science in International Trade and Diplomacy from the University of Zimbabwe.
