Researcher & Policy Advocate, Entrepreneurship To The Point

Nokwanda Motsitsi is a researcher and policy advocate with a focus on entrepreneurship development, economic inclusion, and gender equality. Her work explores how supportive regulatory frameworks, access to opportunities, and targeted support for small businesses can drive decent work and sustainable economic growth. Nokwanda is currently completing her master’s degree in development studies at the University of the Witwatersrand. She has contributed to research and advocacy initiatives that promote entrepreneurship within South Africa’s property sector and support broader sustainability efforts. Her work includes conducting research that informs and shapes programmes designed to assist entrepreneurs across sectors such as the built environment, agriculture, and the green economy. Through her work, Nokwanda aims to ensure that research and policy efforts translate into tangible opportunities for women, youth, and marginalized groups, while contributing to more resilient and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems.
