Environmental Engineer and Researcher, CSIR

Taahira Gogo a researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). She has a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, which focused on assessing current and future impacts of the South African plastics sector. Although her research interests revolve around the themes of circular economy and sustainability, her passion lies in the development of students and early-career researchers, as evidenced by her involvement in organisations such as the CSIR Youth Forum and the Muslim Postgraduate and Researchers’ Network.
