Consultant, DNA Economics
Nicola Wills is a consultant at DNA Economics, and works in the trade, regulation and industry practice area, and climate change practice. Her work has involved research on carbon abatement strategies and the potential of various industries, carbon emission calculations and reporting, climate change and trade, the South African Just Transition, and the overall sustainability reporting for companies in different sectors, including Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures reporting. She has worked on a variety of industrial competition and regulatory policy projects throughout Africa and has a particular interest in energy policy, industry and competition, sustainability, gender mainstreaming, and education in emerging economies. She is currently doing her PhD in Economics at the University of Cape Town.
