Dr Michael Hector is an Economist: Sustainable Development at TIPS. His work focuses on the agricultural and food processing sectors, as well as green industrial policy, with a particular interest in the intersections between economic development, sustainability, and industrial policy in South Africa. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Stellenbosch University.
